Alot of us play music. I play acoustic guitar, been teaching myself. I have alot of experience playing Trumpet, I played alot of Jazz, so I had a pretty wide knowledge of chords scales and time progressions. But now I just play for the fun of it.

bass on and off for three years, i've learned a little bit of piano and i have a hammond organ that i mess with. i also took guitar for a year in high school. and i've taught myself drums. i'm in a band and we record some music. nothing special though, our drummer just has a powerbook we get creative with.

I'm with strode and do the dj thing. I mainly throw beats together and come up with keyboard lines.

I've got programs I use at my house, do some work with mcs/rappers at a studio at my friend's house. Alot of their stuff has been recorded down @ hollywood, but we've got some studio time coming up not too far from here.

It's fun.

I've been playin drums for 12 or so years now. I record every once in a while, but not now, cause I'm not in a band at the moment.

i play guitar, electric and accoustic. i play bass on the side. im in a 3 person band. drummer, and my friend and i. nick and i switch off between guitar, keyboard, vocals, bass....it gives us a pretty diverse sound. we record stuff onto my comp using just the regular mic, and it doesnt sound horrible. its a good way to start so that you can here yourself play

Clarinet, I play solo concertos and duet pieces. If you want a decent idea of what that means, go on kazaa and type in 'von weber' under artist, and download the thing called 'allegro' that invariably seems to come up (it's actually the first movement from his first clarinet concerto). However, if you're too lazy for that... here are some samples, in Midi format, of some things I'm playing (not very good quality, being midis, but the general idea is there). You can download much better Mp3 versions off Kazaa or wherever, and I suggest you do so, but I doubt you'll listen to me.

Carl Maria von Weber, Concertino Op. 26 (beginning of this version a tad slow for my taste)

Mozart, Concerto K.622, Mvt 1 (Bit slower than I play it)

Debussy, Premiere Rhapsodie

Weber, Grand Duo Concertante, Mvt 1

no way, my mate got 2 technics 1210s n a mixer on ebay for £450 or somethin . i dunno what that is in dollars though

^with today's shitty conversion rate and the idiot that's in our office right now, 450 pounds is like almost $900 US. but it's good to have another D&B dj on the site, got any good mixes?

If anyone is interested im selling my Roland 8-Track recorder for pretty cheap. I bought it for 800 a while ago, and haven't used it once, it's been sitting at my friends house for a couple of years. It has a small LCD screen, ZIP disk as a harddrive or you can just directly connect to your computer. With this sucka you can produce quality, professional sounds tracks.
