Do you play lacrosse/general Lax thread

Yes, last year my school went to state for the first time. Super fun experience. Our goalie is no where near as good as our goalie last year though, so probably not gonna go to state this year. I wish lacrosse was sanctioned by our school haha...

used to be a lax player. i was told they didnt want me to return to the team in 5th grade because i would deck the shit out of people before our level could have any contact
 
I play box lacrosse, never had the opportunity to play field. I'd like to try it some day though.

There is a massive difference between the genders, never have played girls lax but my sister isn't a fan because she just wants to run people into the ground like I do. Im in Maryland so lax is pretty much everywhere and all the guys I ski with except 2-3 play it.
 
Played HS and club ball in college, got old and started coaching. Been having a blast looking at the game from the other side of things. Varsity kids are 3 - 0 in fall ball and looking solid. Stoked for the spring.

Not even sure why you thought it was necessary to mention it at all, actually. The topic of this thread was general lax discussion, not an outside perspective of lacrosse players vs skiers.

The "skiing culture" is full of hardo bros too man, as with any sport or physical activity.

Your an idiot...grew up outside of NYC in one of the biggest lax hotspots in the nation. Yea a lot of lax bros but most are super chill dudes and awesome to hang out with. Lax is no different than any other sport...hockey, football, SKIING all require a ton of money to do and have an elitist view. And lot of dudes drink...lax bros just drink hard. Don't be jealous we have way more fun than you.
