Do You Have a Truck?

I just bought a Tundra and am looking to line the bed, but am torn between a spray-on liner (rhino or line-x) or the plastic, insert style. I know each have their pros and cons, as all things do, but I just wanted to hear what people's personal exerpience was with this matter...Thanks!
 
I have had experience with both, it depends on how much money you want

to spend. If it was up to me I would save up and get Rhino.
 
for sure. i've got a rhino liner in my truck (also a toyota), and i love it. not only does it look nicer, but it IS nicer. much more durable then the plastic ones, stuff doesn't slide around like it would on plastic ones, i dunno, just better all around.
 
yeah the spray in ones look nicer, dont let water get under them, and they dont bend and pull away from the side of the bed and scratch stuff up.
 
i have a truck, get the spray on because the underneath wont rust like pastic slip ons and they wont pop out
 
I bought a truck recently with rhino line already on it, its soooo sick. A buddy of mine had the same model of truck with the plastic lining and it was gay compared to rhino line. I think mine cost about 500 bucks for the orig owner to get rhino lined, i would never get a plastic lining after seeing how burly and nice this shit looks. It doesnt get dirty as easy too, never scracthes up.
 
bro's truck (which I use from time to time) has a spray on (I think Line-X) and it's damn good... would defnitely reconmend it,
 
hmm...sounds like spray-on might be a winner. any reason to go with one company over the other? i know there's a rhino close by and they'll do it for $450. i dunno if there's a line-x dealer or not...
 
as long as it isnt a thin spray on and it all depends on what you are using your truck bed for. I have a plastic liner just because I haul around alot of shit with my dad, like loads of gravel, dirt, ect. So if your doing any of that stuff I would recommend the plastic liner because for example, shoveling you can just slide along the plastic unlike the spray on which could be scratched off.
 
my dad has the new tacoma, and he has a cab on the back, and a rubber matt in his bed, and it works just fine, but i guess no water will get in it becase of the cab.
 
i'm not really planning on using the truck for any labor (although i'm sure it will happen a time or two), the liner would be more just to keep the value up for when i sell it later on down the road. i got the truck mainly for snowmobiling, because i'm sick and tired of trailers as they are made and controlled by satan and i am trying to live a life free of sin. i'll probably use it a bit for import rails, too. anyhow, i guess i'll give rhino a call and set up and appointment sooner than later. thanks people!
