If you do, be sure to watch an all new episode of Spike TV's Pros Vs Joes next thursday at 10 pm (Feb. 22). Sal will be competing as a "Joe" with a bunch of other sportscasters against professional atheletes. Watch Sal make a fool of himself in such sports as football, tennis, and basketball. I cant wait, its gonna be hilarious
 
You should read the article about SAL Snowboard Mag did earlier in the season. Really nice profile on a guy who has been in the snow and skate scene for a long time. Respect your elders...even if they do look goofy on TV.
 
NO....you CANT hate on Sal, if you dont like him you really must not know the whole story behind him, yes he might seem " gay" sometimes i would have to agree a little, but the guys been with all of these action sports from the beginging, you gota understand and i know that if you do you dont hate him..... Please Dont hate Sal.

tina dixon is so much worse. I think thats her name. She just pisses me the hell off for some reason.

And Sal is ok, except, why the hell does he need to wear goggles while reporting the x-games? He isn't even moving!
 
Yea...still annoying as hell.

And honestly, why the hell does oakley or whatever feel the need to promote goggles on some dude that sits in a booth not doing shiz? They want their product on some boarder throwing 10's...not so much mr.sal masekela...i would think.
 
well maybe because he gets like 2 minutes straight of air time after every event? Think about it, how else would they show off there goggles? You see the skiers for like a minute and god knows what goggles there wearing but hey what do you know theres sal agian with his oakley goggles for example, taking up the whole screen.
 
True true. But obviously not many people are itching to be just like sal masekela with his cool goggles if there is an entire thread about how much we hate him.

But yes, i know what you are saying.
 
did u know hes actually a really good athlete. hes reallllly good at surfing and he can snowboard not very well but he can do sum tricks. i like him he seems like a cool guy.
 
alright time to clear some things up. do i personally dislike sal masekela? no, i was simply pointing out to those that do that thiis show will be airing. in fact, i dont hate anyone that appears on pos vs joes. do i enjoy seeing them get destroyed by pros regardless of who they are? yes. does the fact that sportscasters always seem to think that they are the shit make the idea of them getting beat make it more appealing? yes.

like a few of you have said, sal has been in the game forever and deserves respect. i simply will find it entertaining to watch him and other sportscasters face pros on a tv show. thats all folks
