im not tryna hate or anything but i dont really like watching bobby ski. i dont really like his style.

do you guys like his style?

can anyone convince me otherwise? like post a good vid of him or something?

there is a sick switch cork 5 screamin grab he does at Mammoth in The Way I See It @ 28:05... first day back after 3 compression fractures in his spine.

He has a hUge bag of grabs to go along with his tricks. His landings are like he never left the ground.

the problem is that all we typically see are his contest runs. if you saw more you would be much more impressed. There is a cover photo shoot video with Nate Abbott somewhere and he reveals a bit more there...

He's def got style. It's not my favorite, but it's soo clean.
 
Him, Russ Henshaw, and Wallisch have this unbelievable style of stomping double...anything left or right like it was no big deal. they make it look so easy I love it..Russ's lilttle land and stand straight up steeze type thing is definitely my favortie in the game
 
i like watching bb on the tramp, his air awareness x strength is amazing.
casabon is freestyle, hes skied so much that the tricks he does are easy to him and he flosses them out. bb is more trained style, perfectly executed maneuvers everytime.
 
Exactly. It's different, but I think it's still sick. Bobby is just super duper clean and controlled with everything he does and stomps like an animal. Plus his grabs are crazy, I can't even understand how he grabs that high and tweaks that hard on his nose/mute.
 
I dont like his style even just an edit with jossi last year i didnt care for it. Oh look he's right there with his salomons on the right side of my screen. Has he ever done an urban rail?
 
right after his dub misty he looks like he is about to go play nine holes with the collared shirt he wears. but he seems like a really fun guy so it doesnt matter.
 
i just watched the joss edit from last year where he stomped the right dub 12...jesus. he grabbed it SO WELL the entire way and absolutely stomped. so impressive.
 
Bobby might not have the illest gangsta steeze out there but him being champion is very good for the image of our sport. Professionnal attitude, decent clothing and overall talent are just what we need!

Expect more skiers with similar style when pipe skiing gets into the olympics.
 
Bobby is part of the spin and amplitude-to-win aspect of the sport, and he's really good at what he does. Him and some other dudes are all about progressing with more rotations and even triple flips, whereas Guys like Wallisch and Russ Henshaw concentrate on style and doubles spinning both ways. I think Bobby's great but his style isn't as good as guys like Wallisch.
 
Seems like they are the only 2 skiers that have style according to NS. I like bobby's style. Hes clean and controlled in the air. Not to mention he has some damn good air sense.
 
no matter how easy he makes everything looks. I'm not a big fan of his style but hey the guy is pushing it and he's always super cleanwhen he rides.
 
he doesnt really have steeze but he does everything close to perfect and makes it look easy and grabs good but not like steeze tho
 
i see what your gettin at man. he's just kinda mainstream just doing only the best tricks. i don't see him put that much style into it in his edits and stuff but im not trying to hate hes rad.
 
this, i think he gets a lil to much hype about his tripple when russ threw down such a dope tripple cork but kinda crashed...
 
the only reason you say that is because he doesnt dress like a thug and doesnt afterbang for a good 5 seconds after every trick.
he still has a sick style, its just not the same as the definition of style given by henrik, casabon and brogan
 
I fucking hate sammy's style. There, I said it. He's sick to be sure, but his mute pokes are just the ugliest things I've ever seen.
 
i guess its all personal prefrence cuz i dont think he has style....its more like robotic tricks than style and making it look clean
 
Yes and no. If i'm comparing it to riders I watch specifically for their style like casabon, harlaut, favre, etc etc etc, then no, I don't like his as much. Overall though its not bad.

Bobby's style isn't exactly his strong point- which I'd describe as athletic. He may not be the most stylish skier, but the dudes a machine. In the times I've seen him ski, he lands everything. He doesn't make mistakes and works his ass off.
