Do you got cool parents?

my parents are awesome. my dad, well hes just a nerd he trys to hard to still be a little kid but hes really cool about everything, and never gets mad, my friedns love my parents id come home sometime and friends would b at my house talking to my parents just hanging out. my mom used to go shopping all the time with my gf (I moved so we arent together anymore). my mom is just cool as shit i honestly can talk to her about anything, and she doesnt care about anything either. My parents are also really cool about helping ppl out like one of my friends is moving in with us for the winter, and one of my bros friends lived with us for about 5 years my rents basicly adopted him. there just fuckin awesomw, i love my parents.
 
My parents are cool, I have teached my mother to do high fives so we give high fives all the time
 
o ya me and my mom have little play arguements it sooo funny where we just start screaming at eachother and swearing but were just kidding and we both know, its awesome and hilarious lol, sorry for the double post but i just thought of that.
 
a lot of you seem convinced that your parent's "coolness" is directly proportionate with how permissive they are about drugs and alcohol. that is a stupid way to look at it, and if those things are such a huge part of your life that you use them as a measure of judgement for how much you like your parents, you most likely have (or are developing) a problem. not to sound preachy, but you should respect the parents that are looking out for your best interest, not the ones who act like they're 16.
 
im just glad my parents have kept me on the right track, cause when I step back and look at the youth of today, it is apparent that most parents have no control over their kids, which is gonna turn this world into a terrible place if shit dosen't shape up.
 
See, I have no reason to say they're cool because of drugs and such. They'd kick my ass if I went out and got drunk and did something stupid. I got drunk for the first time last week, and hated it, but I called my dad and told him and he was just like "well, You gota learn sometime, but I don't approve of that." Drugs, my dad would straight up beat me down (not really). But I don't smoke, drink, or do any other drugs, so I don't have to worry about that.
 
i mean sure, I wish i was allowed to drink and whatnot sometimes, but look at the long run. You parents (are supposed to) shape the way so that you can be successful in life. Therefore they make rules and whatnot. Without this, most kids will make wrong decisions and end up bumming around for their lives. I say most kids because there are some kids I know specifically and im sure there are alot others who can get by without parental guidance. im just speaking on the whole.
 
ya i noticed that too, im straight edge so they dont have to worry about that shit. i said that my parents dont care about anything but i know that they still do what they are soppose to do they still worry about me and make sure im on the right track.
 
yea me and my friends will smoke with my dad. We'll walk in the house and some one will be like "Hey Mr. M, come hit the blunt" and hes always like "I'll be up in a minuet, guys" then he comes up, rips it, chokes and leaves.

He doesnt get stoned like me and my friends do. Like hell smoke a bowl or 2, or just hit the blunt a few times.

We used to make him rip our zong and shit, that was funny.
 
oh man smoking with adults(older adults) is soo weird. especially if you dont know it at first and u try to hide ur shit and then u find out the parents smoke

Yea and I know alot of kids parents who are DICKS. They give them no freedom, bitch at them all the time, try and drug test them, not let them go out on weekends, make them stay in during the week. Its bullshit, I mean why want parents like that? Atleast a majority of ours gives us the freedom to be ourselves. I can tell from your post you have DICK parents... that sucks for you...

See my dad still makes me do my fair share of work. It isnt like I sit around and do nothing. Beleive me I have my daily chores to do around thehouse gettin shit done. Wow so our parents are cool, your just jealous man.
 
Yeah, my parents were kind of strict when IUw as younger, in retrospect that was a very good thing, some people around me are so fucked up now.
 
ok your agreeing with coyote(sp) about how he said that ppl coralate(sp)kids smoking and there parents not caring about it = making them cool parents. didnt u make a post ^ about smoking with your dad? shit son your parents must be cool .....
 
My parents are so cool. They never get mad, just disapointed which I now realize is a much better parenting technique, it worked on me. Plus they are cool like I can chill with my parents. My dad is cool in the sence that he makes fun of me and my friends. He rips into some of my frieds, funny as hell.
 
my dads a shit, but my mom's pretty cool so she kinda overcomes his assyness and i get to do whatever as long as its free
