My parents are divorced, and I live with my Dad. Both of my parents are really cool. My Dad pretty much lets me do whatever I want, as far as going out with people and whatnot. He also lets me smoke weed, but not drink. HE used to be an alcoholic and it was runing his life. He's told me before "If I still drank I don't know where we would be today."

My Dad takes real good care of me I guess. He bought me a car and shit. He feeds mem he makes some bomb food almost everynight, puts clothes on my back. he even puts my cell phone to my ear...

What I guess I'm trying to get at, is I have upmost respect for my Dad. I can definitley say I have a cool parent. Not all peoples parents are as accepting I guess as my Dad is to me.

All of you are probably like what the fuck? But what are your parents like?
 
My parents are pretty chill, but they get pissed easily about drugs and alcohol.
 
Unlike you, my parents are not divorced but are still super chill. I can talk to them about pretty much everything. Even when I crashed my car they weren't really mad at me.(i guess there is no reason to be as I bought it) My friends are always at my house sometimes just to talk with my parents. They buy drinks for me if I want. So ya, there pretty chill.
 
my parents are much like your dad. very cool. They also bought me a car and are very relaxed when it comes to just about anything. They however, work just about every waking hour of the day, but its cool, when i see them they are very nice and i get along with them very well.
 
My parents are super strict about pretty much everything. They are all about me providing for myself, I dont have a cell phone and im 16. And I deffinately dont expect to get a car untill I can afford the car, gas, and insurance on my own. I have to pay for all my gear and stuff like that unless its a present which really sucks. For instance last year my birthday present was a hat, but the color didnt match so my mom returned it and never got me another one. Having parents like mine really sucks, but im sure eventually im gunna thank them. I hope.
 
that depends they can be. but then my brother just told me that my mom bought him a "joint" dvd pack of half baked and harold and kumar. so i don't know.
 
my parents r cool, my dad can be a smartass sometimes an piss me off but when it comes to partyin theyre cool about it if i tell them im gonna be drinkin and as long as i dont drive, on the other hand whne it comes to drugs they'll kick my ass if they find out i do them, other than that they feed me and give me money if i need it, i try to pay for as much stuff as i can to help my parents out...were not to well off cause my parents r also trying to pay for my 2 sister tyo go through college. but they also give me a place to sleep and clothes an a cell phone, so yeah my parents r pretty cool.....

my parents are absoultley awsome. i couldnt ask for better. sometimes i wish they would let me do some more stuff but i know they are just looking out for me. idk i get over it, they do a lot for me.

My parent's are incredible. They're practically my best friends too. My dad plays lacrosse and hockey with me, my mom brings me to lunch all the time, goes climbing with me. My friends come over and chill with my parents, even when I'm not there. My parent's are the best.

yeah my dad doesnt really give a shit and my mom is starting to loosen up i used to not be able to do alot but now im getting to the point where shes like okay see ya. I can talk to her about anything and all my friends seem to like her

but of course we have our down days and fight alot. but i have the most respect for my mom

I have rad parents. I told my dad about my plan to make my way down the coast to Tahoe next feb, and he has decided to join and pay for everything! They are paying for my education and also gave me a car, and are always there to help out if I ever need anything. Pretty much the rockingest set up in terms of a parental unit.
 
my parents are cool exept about school. it sucks cuz i cant travel for skiing this year if i dont get a 3.6 gpa. i mean, just when i start to get good they make thta rule.
 
my dad is really chill, but it dosnt really matter becasue mi mama is the boss...she makes all the rules and is strict, i feel bad for my dad sometimes cause he really has no say and unfortanitly he is the logical one. Well anyways i love them both but mi mama puts a damper on some good times ot good times to be had at times
 
my parents are cool. occasionally they are super annoying, but ovreall they are all I could want in parents. they pay for a lot of stuff...from skiing to gas (yes it's the epitome of being spoiled when your parents give you gas money every week). my dad has the mindset of a 16 year old, so he's pretty fun to be around. I look up to him a lot because he's done so many things I have wanted to do...he's seen the world, was a professional photographer, was a classic ski bum for many years..he's done everything I hope to do in my lifetime. my mom is the brain in the family, seriously the smartest woman I know. alkdjalskjdaslkdj I Love my parents. I'm gonna go give them hugs.
 
my parents are super chill. i really wouldnt wanna change them for anyone else. i have a mix, a good variety. and their not divorced, so it is kinda hard with 2 people telling me 2 totaly different punishments for things. my dad is super leniant (sp?) and doesnt really care what i do as long as i make the "Right decisions", be bought me a car, and he takes me away skiing all the time and buys me all the ski stuff i could ever need. hes the one i spend most weekends with because my mom doesnt ski often, so it gives my dad and i some qualilty father/ daughter bonding time. were super close .

but on the other hand, i have my mom. who is kind of strict, but in a good way. i wouildnt want parents who dont care. but shes the kind of mom who i can talk to about my relationships, and sex, and who wont tell my dad.

my dads the dad that all the guys love. they smoke weed with him.

but anyways. ya. i love my parents.
 
Money wise, my parents bought me a car and a motorcycle, pay for my insurance on both and gas on both. They're also paying for all of my college. These aren't the reasons that I think they're incredible, but it doesn't hurt either.
 
i have alot of respect for my dad becasue of how much he busted his ass when i was an infant...and even still today...when he started his buissness he would get around 3 hours of sleep a da...for several months at a time...same with my mom...i have got mad respect for my folks.

Definitely don't like 10 people showing up at their house around 3 in the morning after a party and everyones completely wasted, but other than that, pretty chill dog. And isn't the car thing bangin YEAH!! Breed love not hate.
 
I have so much respect for my dad. He grew up in a kind of poor family. I would say around lower middle-class. He never finished high school. Everyone thought he would turn out to be a loser. He really used to be a heavy partier. He was always a hard worker. He took a risk and started his own oil company. It grew real well, because he knew a lot of people. He worked his fucking ass off to get where he is today to give me a lot of nice things in life that the majority of people don't have. He was about 2 minutes away from death a few years ago. His heart valve gave way and they needed an organ donor fast. His life changed a lot during that month or two. It really scared the shit out of me thinking i would never see him again. The doctors made it seem like i should say my goodbyes. The local hospital told him he had a cold when in fact he had an endocarmytic infection on his valve. If he didn't go to another hospital he would have died. My dad could have sued the hospital and the dentist office he got the infection from, but he didn't. He could have done that and retired from the job he really hates but does to suppourt our family. I have so much respect for him and hope I can be just as good as him, someday.

actually yeah, i got a little story to tell, as much as my dad is an alkee and a burn out, i have so much respect for him... his family was shit, his parents were totally losers and didn't support him, he was a slow learner, and he grew up in a bad neighboorhoood. Whne he was about my age (14) he was working to jobs after school until midnight, he worked the second job at a bar washing dishes, he got a ride home from his boss one night and he had been drinking, they got t boned by a semi and everybody was hurt, the boss was a pussy and ran away, while my dad was holding this half dead guy that he worked with in his hands. We always see it on TV when someone dies in somebodys hands, my dad actually lived it, he was the only one that stayed back for the guy and tried to save him. people were coming to help but as soon as they took one look at my dad and the guy beside him, they ran away because it was such a horrible sight, my dad left with only a big cut on his eye and a few broken bones, he was very lucky. I just can't imagine living 14 years old and having to buy your own socks, school supplies, ect. its amazing he turned out fairly well.

He got in about 4 fights when he was 15 because his sister was retarded and everyone mocked her. If you ever see my dad hes about 5'3', 150 pounds, very very small, when the guys were mocking his sister were about 6 nothin, average weight, big. He never lost a fight, its amazing what you can do when somthing you love is on the line, he beat up this one guy, guy got up after, called his sister retarded, made some jokes about how short he was, my dad broke the guys jaw. He started bleeding instantly, my dad ran, he felt super bad but this guy had it coming, he just wouldn't stop. It was on the news a few days later saying this guy had a broken jaw in 3 places, a concussion, and had to get full reconstructive suregery on his jaw. cops were looking for my dad, parents were mad at him, moved away and lived on the streets for a bit, then got his life back in shape. He is defenitly my idol in life other than the smoking and drinking part. Well that his story, hes an amazing guy, Love ya dad...

i got the pc taken away for a week because i went to a freinds house after school...and phoned from the friends house, not before i left. which just so happened to be a rule my dad made up on the spot.

i dont care much about the pc, its just a really harsh punishment for something so gay
