Do you gel or wax?

I got my hair cut kinda short yesterday, and the lady put some sort of foaming wax stuff into it. It looked pretty good, and I bought some of the stuff. Now, usually I'm a gel person, but this stuff is great, I like it a lot so far. What does everyone else use, gel or this wax stuff for thier hair?

 
i dont know about this foaming wax stuff, but i use pommade, i like the look of it better, less greasy looking
 
All natural in my hair. No gel, no wax. I hate that shit, i hate not being able to run my hands through my hair without them feeling greasy/sticky/not being able to go through my hair because of stickiness.
 
Natural man.....wake up in the morning like that...the girls love it. just be your self man.
 
I totally agree, natural is better, but I have the straightest hair in the world, and looks like shit when I let it go natural. Gel controls it better, otherwise it flattens down on my head and I look like a Beatles member.
 
i used to use it sometimes but now its all natural unless i need to go to some event (such as my prom) then its cool to be able to see
 
I never put shit in my hair, nothing can tame it! I have really thick course hair that's slightly curly and If you comb it it does nothing.
 
i face the same problem, when i try to comb my pubes they don't do anything either. adivice: throw that fro-pick away and trim, it'll make the johnson look bigger
 
my hair is the same but i could care less. i get out of the shower and my hair for the day is however it drys
 
I have some sort of styling glue or something, I dunno. I dont do my hair that often, only when Im going out for a night with the girlfriend or something.

i dont use gel...or wax.....

i use this salty white fluid....you may have seen cameron diaz utilize it in the same fashion in a film back in the day with ben stiller.
 
i used to use gel when i was like 12, then when i was about 13 or so i switched to wax cuz it kept it looking more natural, now i go au natural
 
Yeesh, my hair calmed down today and it looks much better. The wax made it look and feel greasy, so I dont know if I'll ever use that stuff agian.
 
if im going to put anything in, its going to be wax. I gave up on Gel when I gave up on spiking my hair. otherwise i wear a hat or i dont care enough about what im doing that day to need to make a good impression.
 
about pommade. my ex used it and the first time i asked him why his hair was so wet, cause it looked so greasy.

excessive pommade makes you look like a cheap mafia boss.
 
As a 'fratboy' and somewhat familiar with the preppy thing as I have tons of friends who went to prep school; I'll say that gel and wax are neither fratty or preppy.
