Do you cliff jump?

I have created an app for that.

Check it out, it's called the Big Swings App and it's totally free on Apple and Android.

Do you have any good cliff jumping stories to share? I'd love to hear some.

Cliff jumping is awesome. Near Boulder there is a reservoir that has a great cliff jumping spot. Only catch is that you're not allowed to sim in the res. It becomes a constant game of cat and mouse waiting for the patrol boat to get really far away. As long as they don't actually see you in the water they cant do anything. You're allowed to be soaking wet sitting at the top of the cliff, your just not allowed to be in the water.

Your disclaimer has some conflicting/erroneous information:

"IT IS ILLEGAL TO JUMP FROM ANY HEIGHT (MAN MADE OR NATURAL STRUCTURES" O rly? Says who?

"Big Swings is in no way liable for any persons actions." You do realize that simply saying something does not make it so, correct? That would be like me saying "I am not responsible for the death of OP when I cut his throat."

"You may not submit information from a third party source unless you have express

permission from the copyright owner." Hmm...I would say that somewhere between 99.9% and 100% of third-party cliff jumping info is not copyrighted, and what is out there is meant to be shared.

"Seriously, this is as dangerous as it gets." Really? Really? What about BASE jumping? Playing chicken with a train while on a tricycle? Sharing needles in downtown LA? Any number of other activities...

Also, why not put the info on your website? I'm not interested in downloading your app but wouldn't mind seeing what you have compiled. I might even contribute if I know of some that you don't have. The app is fine, if that's what you're into, but what would be lost by putting the info on your site as well? I'm thinking what you have is basically a copy of swimmingholes.org, which has been around for quite a while.

That's just some constructive criticism.

Not to mention the multiple spelling/grammatical errors.

I appreciate the helpful insights. I appreciate any knowledge you guys have to share. I will turn around and try to make that stuff better in the App.

I basically run the entire system myself, lots of editing and code work. Along with being out actually jumping and filming all the time. This is my passion and that's why I do it.

The disclaimer needs to be fixed if we keep it in at all. It is legally unnecessary to have that pop up anyway. We just want people to be as safe as possible and figured a warning wouldn't hurt.

We have huge design changes happening now and over this winter season and we know everyone will be stoked when they see our releases in the Spring of 2016.

If you have any suggestion I would be happy to hear them.

I would do it more, if I didn't live so close to the city. Water is so polluted, and there is like 1 spot near me and its on the other side of the city.

I did it once in Tennessee for a senior trip and it was a blast. Everyone in my class was scared to jump and then I just threw a misty.

That a boy. Where in Tennessee? Was it big?
