Do you believe in ________?

ghosts? sorta... i dont really call it that but just interconnections of spirits throughout the universe. ie. where do our minds/spirits go when we sleep

ghosts. yes.

i was in my room one day searching for my phone. i looked everywhere and i checked my bed, in my sheets and everything. i laid down and looked under my bed but all i saw was a yellow lacrosse ball. i got up, walked out of my room and was about to walk downstairs when my brother asked to borrow my phone charger. turned around, walked back to my room and bent down to unplug my charger and BAM my phone was sitting right next to the lax ball.

not very scary but it literally happened over the course of 30 seconds. the lax ball is yellow and my phone is jet black, i checked angles and there is no way the phone could've been behind the ball when i initially looked. the phone was also towards the middle of my bed, so i doubt it couldve fallen out of my sheets when i went out of the room. even so, i was never more than 5 feet from the door so i would've heard it (my floor is cork not carpet). to this day it gives me chills thinking about it, i freaked the fuck out.

UFO's - yes, undoubtedly so, there is 100% chance of ailien beings being or have been on this planet.

Ghosts - yes, extra dimensional consciousnesses of dead and dreaming spritis interacting with eachother and only sometimes are they visible in our world.

i wouldn't say that entirely, from a realistic standpoint, getting to earth from where ever an alien planet might be would quite the task, the amount of energy needed to get here in a short enough time period would be unfathomable

is there life other then us in the universe? undoubtedly yes, but the chance of them visiting earth is.....on the lower side

how do you sound so smart if you're always skipping school?

i agree 100% though. i'm about to sound like the history channel meme guy but there are lots of things (architecture, symbols, drawings) that point to aliens having visited the planet. i mean seriously, seriously, how the fuck did humans build the pyramids? back then it would've been nearly impossible. anybody heard of the crystal skulls, like the ones from indiana jones? they're real as well. how could anybody have carved those out of crystal back when computers didn't even exist...?

Santa, yes, i saw Rudolph's nose when I woke up in the middle of the night on christmas eve when i was probably 4.

Do people have dreams about that? Or do you experience it in another way? I dream the moment, then when i'm actually there, like a week-month after the dream, i realize i dream't the exact same thing.

my physics teacher worked for the government and had the highest security clearance and said that he could neither confirm nor deny the existence of aliens. They definitely exist.

yup same.

this one month a few summers ago i was getting that feeling a few times a week and the moments were getting longer... until at the end of the month i was on a beach one day watching some birds. i got that feeling then i remembered what happened next in my dream... the bird fell out of the tree and flew away exactly the way i "remembered" it.

freaked me the fuck out. i was thinking about it for the rest of the day, how could that be a fluke? did something like it happen before? but no, it was the dream i had a few nights before. (i knew this because i have been recording them for lucid dreams n shit)

for the rest of the year i had not gotten that feeling. now they are reoccurring. i usually get them after i make a poor decision, when im in class or when im driving at night.

makes you think... what if a dream was a representation of the next chapter in your life in many ways you could play it out. and when you get deja vu its just you doing exactly what you predicted in your dream....

but dreams only come from things you already know, so when this duplicates does that mean you are not progressing? and stuck in the past because nothing new is added to your life since the dream?

so deja vu is your mind telling you to move on?

what the derp?

i have over thought this.

or you can be buzz killington and think that...

In particular, this may result from an overlap between the neurological systems responsible for short-term memory and those responsible for long-term memory (events which are perceived as being in the past). The events would be stored into memory before the conscious part of the brain even receives the information and processes it.

ya dreams and deja vu, all that shit in general is really crazy. I've been trying to somewhat figure it out and really think about all this, but it's all to much of a mind fuck so i just go with it. But yes i've definitely had times where real life and my dreams who knows how long ago come together, and i can predict what happens next. Then once that goes down i get the chills try and make sense of what just happen, but then like after waking up from a crazy dream and trying to remember, it just fades away the harder you think about it.

Bigfoot..Yes i got a story but its long and i have evidence :)
UFO... Yes how are we the only ones in the univers
Ghosts... Yes i have experinced ALOT of stuff in my old house

-ghosts/bigfoot nope/nope

-ufos i believe that some people cannot identify human-made aircraft, therefore these aircraft are unidentified.

just because it's a UFO does not mean aliens

also....

It's so odd and I always tell people and they don't believe me! But I think since we only use 10 percent of the brain, our brains can do so many things we don't know about yet. And these "psychic" feelings people have can just be some of them

that is poor reasoning.

even if you are right about phone not being there when you left the room, theres no ground to say it was ghosts. read about Ockham's razor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam%27s_razor .

You have more reason to believe it was your brother making a joke, or your mom, or a wild monkey that climbed through your window, than inventing some new idea ie. a ghost, to explain it.

heres an applicable excerpt from Ockam:

“nothing ought to be posited without a reason given, unless it is

self-evident (literally, known through itself) or known by experience..."

btw I'm not saying i believe ghosts dont exist, but yours is not a good reason to suppose they do.

Very interesting...I didn't think so many people on this site would believe in ghosts. I mean, do you guys honestly believe that when some people die, a conscious part of them stays behind and just floats around on this planet for the sole reason of trying to scare you in your house? Or to move some of your belongings when you're not looking to trip you out? You guys think THAT'S what happens when you die?
idk, I mean I guess I should have expected this since shows like 'ghost hunters' are still on the air. But come on, seriously?
