Do you agree with me or not

I think that any spins onto a rail over a 450 looks sorta bad because most of the times they just barely clip the rail.....now I am not trying to downplay the trick at all because I could never do it if my life depended on it but I guess i consider it sorta like spin to win in the sense that i would rather see less of a spin and have it be super smooth rather than an 810.....but that is just me.....agree with it or not

disagree

...well to a point. if somebody does an "810 on" but all it really amounted to was a 900 with some ski contact on the rail just enough to make a sound, that's pretty lame. but ive seen some clean ass 630s and stuff in my time. they just get better, especially on appropriate features

on the huge gap to flat down(which is a huge box anyway) looks good. But when like john spriggs does 630 onto a regular flat down rail and taps the end... well that looks bad.

agree, but it depends on the skiier/stunt, it can really go either way, but, like you say, i don't like the rail tapping in a big spin

Dont agree. Although there's too many pencil steeze switchups and rail spins about, it's starting to get a bit lame.

Switch cork mute 630s to rail are unbelievably amazing.

agree. but if they could like 810 onto the middle and balance enough to pretzel out..... the would be fucking dope

come on man, you can't just draw a line like that, that all spins on over 450 = bad. Sure some do, but some look sick as hell. One of the first 810s ever was Thovex's at the last Super Park, Super Park 6, and he put an 810 right from the top of the down of the flat down and cleaned it. Some are sick, some are not. Just like any other trick.

well, I sorta consider big spins onto rails more of an air trick with an incredibly technical landing. They're impressive, but usually can't really be considered rail slides IMO. Sure wish I could do them though...

i agree althugh i do that exact thing (900 over rail to bonnk) in one of my vids. the thing is is sometimes you just feel like it

disagree, they look good if done right, actually spinning onto a rail looks good regardless of how much or how little is spun (unless its terrible style)

I only agree if they don't get a good stick at the end... if they half ass tap it then yeah, it's stupid but if they get a good square hit I think it's fine. Vanular manages to make them look amazing, and Candide almost always does too. I definitely wish I could do it.

disagree. i think that its legit.. snowboarders cannot make them look sick at all. i think its something that is unique that skiers have done.

i think it depends on the rail, if it is a big down rail or something and you are able to spin on and continue sliding that is one thing but i think it looks stupid when people huck onto the rail and barely tap the end. i would rather see a really clean and steezy 270 on then a hucked 630.

ya i agree. if they land solidly on the last couple feet then i consider that "clean" but if it's just whacking the last bit of hte rail with nose/tail then it isn't really legit.

90% agree.

very few riders can bring style into massive spins.

example: candide´s fakie 630 tail into down rail(wha´ppen).

so sick.
