Do ski resorts let you ride after closing day?

So i was wondering, do ski resorts let you just go there and set up and hike? I would think they couldnt care, as long as you dont wreck the facilities or whatever. I dont know if it makes a difference, but Gore(my closest mt) is state owned btw, so they might be more strict.

Many resorts don't actually own the land they operate on, so at these resorts you could technically hike anytime of year and they legally could not kick you out. But if the resort actually owns its land then you could probably get slapped with tresspasing if you got caught.

I just hike my resort last weekend, no body catch us so i dont know if you can or not... sorry bro , you should try if you realy want to ski

never been an issue for either of the places i ski, one's private land and the other i'm not sure about.

We always hike the park weeks after closing, sometimes we even have a sled-tow. It's awesome.

if its on state or national forest land you can. a lot of times they'll say u cant but if u tell off by saying that its public property and its yours to use then they cant do anything

Once ski patrol is done their tear down it's a free for all on my local mountain. there's always a crew of sledders up there every day for about a month after the hill shuts down.

nope. we got a big dumping the week after our hill closed (with a bigass base and no bare spots) and my friend on the park crew went for a ride, he got in big trouble for it

At mine you can. One of them even says on the website that it's spring hiking time. But who needs to hike when the other ones open.

All the hills around here will let you. They take out all the rails thought, but the jumps and we can bring up our own rails or P.V.C pipes.

i think they wont care

and nobodys really gonna catch you if they do

and the worst thing thats gonna happen is you go home

at the mountain I hike late season, they don't care, as it's a provincial park. I just don't think you're aloud snowmobiles.
