Do ski movies need a story?

Am I the only one that wishes ski movies would have a story that would go along with them. Where athletes disscuss the obstacles that they had to over take throught a year of being on the road. Correct me if I am wrong. But I think stories could make ski movies much better.

I know that the Blizzard of Ahhh's does and its the greatest ski movie of all time.

Heres a story: A young shy female heads to school and meets a boy, and has sex with him, then meets some girls and has sex with them. Then has sex with both men and women. Roll credits.

The only time I;ve seen somebody do that and not make it the worst movie ever was Tanner talking in TBC. other than that, its gay.
