Do not get and LG DARE

ok so, i've already gone through two lg dares and today, im gonna get a third one. for me, every time i got one, its broken. the first time, i couldnt hear any phone calls. the second time(now) i cant play music, cant hear phone calls, i press one button but it goes to a different screen. the phone just breaks too much in my opinion. ive got two friends and they have no problems with them. if you want, go ahead and get a dare. theyre not bad phones overall but i just have bad experiences with them. im gonna probably maybe be selling one soon that will be brand new just as a heads up.
NOTE: so if you were to personally ask me if i like the lg dare, id say i dont. would i recommend it, only if you want a touch screen. do i think its a bad phone (feature wise), no, its pretty good but just too many bad experiences on my part.
the good thing is that every problem i've had has been a manufacturer defect so they covered the exchange.
So if you want to buy one, go ahead. i dont completely recommend the them, but theyre not the worst phones.
And, btw. if you have one and your going skiing, dont take it along with you. my friends got perspiration on them from it being cold and his body being warm, and the phone got water damage. haha.
hope this helps everyone out there who wanted a new phone and in particular looking at an lg dare.
 
that sounds like the samsung glyde it also does that but i have the old one. my sister has the newer one at it is fine. Also I dropped mine in snow while skiing and it got wet, for a day or too when I pressed "e" it would do "et" but now its fine.
 
mine broke 3 times in 3 months so i just switched it out with the voyager for free. i kind of like having real buttons more than all touch

ha i cause i haven't really had any problems with mine....

but a note from above ^^ The glyde blows.. i had like 4 of those before i got the dare....

But i like my Dare, i just keep it in a hard case so when i drop it it dont break.

 
i made the same mistake by buying one. had it for 4 weeks with no insurance and accidentally slapped my keys against my leg while getting into a car. well the screen was facing outward and the screen cracked. I later called verizon and told them the screen just didnt work and they trouble shooted it at a store (never did). so i got out of $400.

if it breaks just keep calling and bugging them. eventually they'll credit you for a new phone
 
hehehehe. i have mixed reactions about this phone. ahah. i dont want to blow this phone off saying its horrible but at the same time i think its not a very realiable phone.
and btw. just got a new dare 5 minutes ago. im gonna sell it!!!! soon!!!!so for those who want one, your chance is coming up. i was talking with the guy at the verizon store and he said that the newer dare's dont have that problem anymore. im gonna use the phone for lets say 2 or 3 weeks then im selling it.
 
like the guy under you said. i need a phone and i can get an upgrade in 2 weeks or 3 i dont remember. but thats when i will probably sell it here on ns. drrrr
