Do I have to re-mount?

I just got a pair of skis in from d-structure. They mounted the bastards for a 346mm shell at least, and I asked for a 342mm. I would normally just say, whatever and shorten them from the back, but they are mounted center. That would put me over center. They are Marker Squires, and I was wondering if there was anything I could do without re-mounting them. Thanks.

346-342=? just take them back to the shop and explain calmly and ask and they will adjust for your boot length and set it so your forward pressure is right. its a minor mistake but shouldnt really have happened (but not worth getting worked up about)and being centre and 4mm off centre is going to make no noticable difference. to re-drill the holes you need around 1cm between them so its not a remount job.

I just slid the heel plate and said fuck it. You're right, it's only 4mm, I would go back to the shop, but I am on the other side of the country.

I guess I'm just a little pissed, T. Martin's right. I went through a whole shitstorm, and they still came 3 weeks late.

right 346-342 is 4. so that means the heel will be forward 4 cm, the toe will be the same, and boot center only moves 2mm past ski center. 2mm will not make a difference
