oh hell yea, for some reason I feel like the French know whats good lmao

yeah, it’s anywhere you go if you know where to go. uk weed scene is big, but spain probably has the most legit with big clubs and events every year

Cannabis stores in Canada do see Europeans browsing the shops. They refuse to pay 30$CAN a gram however.

Americans have no problem with those prices

Kind of weird that people think weed is an American thing. Sure with our laws the last 10 years and the industry thats been building, a lot of stuff you can get here that you can't get many places but people are smoking weed everywhere.

In switzerland its not legal yet but ist super easy to get your hands on it. When I started smoking (at around 15) it was sometimes even easier to get weed then to buy alcohol. Even the police doesen't say anything, you can walk around the city with e spliff in your mouth and no one cares.

Cept China............ and mebbe North Korea..........not sure about Alabama.

Historically, ancient china were some of the first to use cannabis for ceremonial purposes

On a different matter is hash common in the US?

I’ve only talked to 1 or 2 people from the US that smoke hash, and all of them talk about smoking hash in the past and not actively

Why doesnt any US political party even put legalization on their platforms? More specifically, 3rd parties?

Juste take a look, north of the border; Liberals were trailing the NDP as the Conservatives had power. Liberals annonced legalization and won a majority and 2 minority in 3 elections.

Everyone in the US that I have talked to supports legalization and some expressing interest of trying, only if legal. People from the left want to be free from percecution and people on the right want to invest in it.

Im not asking about why isnt it legal in the US, Im asking why isnt anyone from any party is not putting the motion foreward?

Nah not really. It exists but you rarely see anyone with it. It was a little more popular pre legalization but not too much. Even in the festival trade it was around but never as popular as some other places.

Yeah idk. There's still too many bitch ass people voting for fake "morals". And the resurgence of that vibe with trump isn't helping.

This will get downvoted by trump people even if they smoke weed because everyone on both sides is all in for their party it seems, especially the republicans.

It's stupid, most people agree it's stupid, but we have progressive change in America because that would show that we were wrong, and America is never wrong.

Sadly the reason why probably 3/4 of our legal states exist is not because of freedom, the obvious failure of the drug war, etc, but instead because sketchy politicians love $$$ and want that tax revenue for their state.

It's pretty fucked up if you deeply held moral beliefs want to put people in prison for smoking weed in 2022. It's way more fucked up and dark if you believe that, but flip to legalization simply to make extra tax revenue.

I remember when people thought Obama was going to legalize it. There was very little chance. It's still a while out but I think if a party has balls at this point it could pass with the sheer volume of legal states, the whole system running for a decade, the tax revnue, etc.

Idk, America is always right, even though we're so deeply wrong on such a seemingly simple issue.

Why change when you can do the same thing forever?

It's regulated by state governments, so there's less pressure on the federal level for legalization.

However drug charges are a federal felony through the Controlled Substance Act. States must obay federal law too, or have stricter regulations over writing federal law.

Its weird that its illegal to possess weed, but state law allows for sales and distribution. Kinda dumb when you think bringing in bud into Washington will be a trafficking under federal customs law, but buying and smoking it on a state level is fine…

As many have pointed out it definetly is around in the EU. I wish cooking/baking was more common though as i have come to prefer eating. Most stoners seem rather spooked to eat in Switzerland. I made a large batch of brownies and cookies recently. Slowly chipping away at that freezerdrawer solo...

If anyone in the Zürich/Winterthur area wants some "Kaffee und kuchen" let me know :)

Not sure if there are any other names for it as well, but most people i know just call it "röka hink" which means to smoke a bucket lol

Libertarians are all about it

About 10 years ago, I took a gap year in Europe after high school (damn I’m getting old). At every hostel I stayed at, the receptionist offered me a hit of a joint.
