yeah i'm wicked bad in school and was wondering if i'll ever get into college, specifically colorado mountain college, anyone of those. i'm talking REALLY bad in HS..outta a 2,400 i got an 1170 on the SAT. will i have to join the military or will some school out there accept me?

Well, dude, have insentive. My dad got in a horrific car accident when he was 19, lost a ton of school, and went to summer school and made it all up because he wanted to graduate with his friends. Why would you want to go to college dumb? Don't you want to have somewhat of a future besides skiing? Go to summer school, and don't be a lazy bum.

man it's not that i'm dumb, i could do it easily if i tried, but right now it seems like i have better shit to dso, which i dont, in college i plan on busting my ass, doing well at a community college and then moving onto a better college, but now i've fucked up so bad i'm scared i wont even have the chance to prove i can do it in college.

well ok, i still have my senior year and i'm going to work hard in school, boost my grades and get my life on the right track, this summer i have to take geometry again and am going to try my best to do well, retake the SAT and apply into several schools..filmmaking school would be dope to get into.

everyone makes it seem like your college matters so much for the rest of your life. but you can go to a community college for 1 or 2 years and transfer to good college still. and unless your gonna be a doctor or something like that your your college doesnt matter that much.im going to cmc i think too. im in the same situation as you. i could get pretty good grades if i did homework and studied and shit. but i think an 85 average is good enough to get into a community college so why bust my ass when i dont need to.

 
yeah i always wonder about this, cuz liek i try in school but im just plain fuckin dumb, but then again im hearing impared and learn like 50 times slower than anyone else....i do hope to have a future, and i try in school as best as possible...just my marks are ass, but then at least im passing everything.

haha o well i didnt think you were that dumb. yeah i seriously think i have done homework as in work at my house 5 times this year. i do shit in school when im not too tired. idk why yer talking about college if your not even going to graduate. but if you graduate a community college in your state pretty much has to except you. cmc says you need a 860 on the old sats(idk what they would be on the new) or a placement test.

 
yeah, i have hearing loss too (as well as Auditory prossesing disorder) and the shcool gave me like amplifiers and tought me to read lips and carp and it helped me learn a lot faster than before

 
yo spic youre an idiot, community colleges arent grade 13, all the courses are universal university courses, every credit i earned at a community college is transfering over to the university I am transfering to, same work load and curriculum-

anyways man, i did terrible in high school, primarily because of lazyness, go to a community college, step it up and earn a good gpa and transfer to a university as a sophmore and you will be fine, just party and have fun but make sure you pull off a good gpa and youre money

 
i suggest placing hooks on the edges of ur eyes with strings attached, tie the strings to the part of the glasses that goes over ur ears, put them on, and BUMCHACA ur asain and accepted to any school on this planet!

CMC I believe is technically a Community College. Locally (in MA), many Community Colleges will take you if you walk in the door and sign a peice of paper. However, I recently went through getting back into school, and applied at CMC, no letters of recomendation, no essays, no nadda needed (just transcripts - but I had also gone to college before, but screwed it up). I wouldn't worry too much about getting into a community college (especially since you don't need a HS diploma, but typically at least need a GED - but not always). The worst thing that can typically happen with a Community College (this has happened to a couple friends) is that you screw up the placement tests have have to take a couple classes for no credit to get yourself up to par.

If you haven’t done homework ONCE this year, don’t even bother with college. You’ll just be wasting your time and money. You’ll end up paying a shit load more to do nothing again. You just sound lazy to me. Step up your work ethic first.

you can definatly get into a community college...they'll take anyone with a pulse. and then you can do well there and transfer out and go to a better school.

If you don't want to go to a community college (do it) when you apply, just say in a your personal statement that you messed up in high school but are determined to make it in college. Make sure you have a distinct goal in mind and remember to write that in your application as well. Colleges look for a goal and determination, they will take you if you show potential. CMC takes anyone by the way

 
dude act is way easier than sat...its more comprehensive. you should try it, plus you get to choose which scores the colleges see.

I don't know if this was said because I didn't take the time to read it.

But community colleges will take you they never look at your high school grades on your SAT score. If you do well if community college for the 2 years and have a certain GPA in community college a university will accept you. They won't look at your high school grade or your SAT scores but you need to have that high GPA.

i go to sac city, and never took the S.A.T.s. its like 84$ a class, and they give you a hella good education. not as many people in the classes, which i like, some dont. id rather have a teacher who knows my name rather than one who doesnt give a fuck and not even know im sitting in the room.

yeah but im not taking any hard classes. instead of taking math like i should have i took applied math where i do absolutly nothing and dont take notes and get an 85-90. and im not taking chemistry cus i didnt feel like it so im taking bullshit elective science classes where we do nothing.
