Do braces hurt when you get them out?

careful man. in like 20 or 30 years your teeth will slide out of position if you dont at least wear it sometimes.

THANK YOU.

all my friends bitch at me cause i don't wear mine. they're like "dude, your teeth will get messedup!"

went to the dentist yesterday. first thing they said

"Wow your bite is perfect, looks like you've been wearing your retainer!"

"uhhh... yeah!" (trollface.jpg)

Got my braces off two days ago, doesnt hurt but is very unpleasent when they are clamping them off, afterwards it is allgood!

No pain, wear your retainer, don't lose it and fucking brush it twice a day. When I first got my retainer I wasn't brushing it too frequently, I eat sushi once or twice a week so it was smelling like some serious fish. Get some Listerine too, enjoy your new teeth. Prepare to lick the shit out of them.

Its been forever since I had braces. I remember it didn't hurt getting them off, but it was uncomfortable for sure. I was a moron for not wearing my retainer as much as I should have. My teeth shifted for sure.

yeah there's no pain at all really. It'll feel weird for the first day or so depending on how long you've had them on for, but you'll get used to it. First thing I did was eat an apple... FUCK YEAH

I can't tell you enough, and you'll thank me later: wear your retainer or else your years of braces will be for nothing.

Same here, except i havent even started seeing an orthodontist yet. Like what the fuck mom and dad. Quit messing around and get some goddamn braces on my teeth. Im sick of crooked teeth.

It hurt like a bitch when I got mine pulled off, but that might be because they broke off half my front tooth while doing so.

my teeth are all pushed into each other and always kinda wondered why no dentist ever told me to get braces. now i am 24, so its kinda too late. and its not overly bad, so i guess everything went better than expected

nah dosent hurt. feels great to go brush your teeth and have em all clean and straight, and also the apple part is quite nice...

No its honestly worth it. I have one permanently across my 4 top front teeth and I never notice it, and it also doesn't restrict any foods I eat. It has never fallen off or been damaged and its really smooth so it doesn't scratch my tongue. Plus I never have to wear my retainer. I've had my braces off for 6 years now and I definitely wouldn't consider it an "appliance" or any other type of annoyance

I've had my braces on for almost a month

Junior year, plan to have them on for two years..

which means I get to have them my first full year of college, woooooo
