Do Athletes Deserve Millions of Dollars?

Your paper is going to start off on the wrong foot if that's your title. It only takes a few seconds of thought to realize you should change the word "deserve" to "earn". They earn it, duh. If they weren't good enough to entertain, who the hell would pay to watch? Supply and demand. End of paper.
Maybe you should argue that they are severely UNDERPAID when you consider they are the primary attraction and they only get a small slice of the pie (AKA - the NFL pulls in how much in one year? How much goes to the average player? Are you risking you're life or well being when you step on an NFL field in front of a tank like Ray Lewis?). It would be provacative and different, and you'll likely interest your teacher instead of help them practice their eye rolling.
