About a year ago I Kundalini meditated for around 6months heavily and had very weird sensations and full body orgasms followed by fire butthole.

I practice mindfulness meditation now.

How and where do you meditate?

No

Go take your granola somewhere else

yeah because Buddhist monks (as an example) have been eating granola for hundreds of years as well.

If the thread doesn't pertain to you, why comment? Go start an anti-meditation thread.

i don't think you understand what meditation is

many forms of meditation and you don't have to sitting cross legged on a pillow every time. My girlfriends likes to meditate while washing the dishes for example. Instead of hating every minute of washing, she meditates. Just think about the process of washing... The fact we have running water and clean dishes is amazing! X amount of years ago we didn't have those luxuries. So, this is a perfect time to not think about anything and meditate or it can be a perfect time to separate any personal feelings and just wash the dishes. OR you could just wash them angrily and wish death to the mofo who didn't wash their peanut butter spoon.

yesssss I've been getting into qi gong recently and I also love to listen to guided visualization before I sleep.

My favorite place to meditate is probably on my slackline. It took me a little while to get comfortable in lotus on the line but the feeling is so worth it. Highly recommended.

Awesome, yeah I’ll have to try that someday. I prefer to meditate in nature, its really relaxing and you’ll be surprised at the small things you hear.

I used to when I went to the gym. I'd sit on the yoga mats, stretch and let my mind go.

It makes you so at peace with everything. I need to do it more. Hopefully I can incorporate it into my daily hiking schedule.

Threads, this seems like what I need in my life

How exactly do you meditate?

All different kinds of methods, I find mindfulness meditation to be the easiest and most effective technique.

Just sit in a quiet place, whether it be outside in nature or in a dim lighted room and either close your eyes or open them slightly and stare at an object.

I find it easier to have my eyes slightly open like Tibetan Buddhists as my mind wanders when I close my eyes, plus you’re grounded and in reality.

Then you just stare and discern thoughts without any judgment at all. After a while you will feel at peace and will be relax and completely forget that you are meditating or staring.

You find that it is such a burden thinking all the time and meditation helps unwind that burden.
