Some people. People have a stupidly hard time realizing that we're all people. Everyone get's caught up in small differences and acts a fool.

Fuck all the ignorant people who think they're better than someone else because of where they were born, what color there skin is, or some other shitty reason.

Unfortunately that's just the way it is. We see these people in other countries as something steps from from people. We are people, they're just some brown thing that we have nothing in common with and will probably try to harm us.

We have no problem justifying killing them because they're already dehumanized in our minds.

What the hell will it take for us to realize we're all connected? All these people out there looking to get what they feel they're entitled to and willing to step on anyone that gets in the way.

I hope that changes at some point.

It's easy to judge from the PNW, some places in this part of the country are essentially an extension of Mexico. It's crazy.

1. I'm from California. I have lived right next to exactly what I'd call a fucking barrio (Pittsburg, CA - yes, no H), and yes, I'll call it that because even the billboards and shit were in Espanol.

2. California, Nevada, and the four corners states used to be part of Mexico. SO NO SHIT. LEARN YO HISTORY.

Ever lived in a town of 30,000 where 85% are hispanic (2 miles from the border though so not that surprising)? Or paid taxes in that county which had school busses bring people from Mexico to the local US high school every day? I'm sure you can share some of the frustration I've experienced watching a community struggle financially as it was milked from across the border based on what you saw in Nor Cal. Lots of the local businesses suffered tremendously from the effects of the drug lords across the river too, really sucks.
 
If you don't think Northern Californians are at all effected by illegal immigration, then you are completely mistaken.

And... paying taxes to bring American students (Those kids are born in America, and that's the only way that works) isn't exactly what I'd call a terrible thing. I mean, look up Point Roberts, WA. They bus those kids in WAY further every day, but nobody in Bellingham is bitching.

And if you want to see businesses and people suffering, go over the border and see what American weapons and policies have done to that nation. America is just as at-fault for the immigration problem as is Mexico's own self-inflicted issues.
 
but the point roberts kids were white. Which means they're more american. Here in AZ, illegal immigrants just keep stealing jobs that no one else wants.
 
funny how that works. gotta say the politicians seem to promote the stereotypes too. somebody couldnt have made up a better character than Bush to be the sereotypical American president. he was perfect. in a terrible way
