racing and snowblading is gay like rollerblading. But most snowboarders are pretty cool.

No skier should hate snowboarders. just cause they have something different strapped to there feet doesnt mean they should be hated. Skiing and Snowboarding are very close sports. Closer than Racing is to Freeriding i think.

No, my best friend boards, a do my cousins. If it wasnt for boarders then really terrain parks like we have em now wouldnt exist. But some boarder's think theyre too cool after they pull a 3. It pisses me off.

No, I don't hate them. In fact I love to board. To me it's just a weapon of choice. Like nunchunks vs. a bow staff. They are just two different styles aimed at the same goal.......completely jacking someone up.

i hold nothing against them...because most of my friends snowboard...but i still enjoy that special skiing moment when you skate by for snowboarding friend (who may be chill but thats irrelavent) on a flat, call him a fag and then refuse to give him a tow. I enjoy watching them do that goofy looking walk thingy. Still, I got mad respect for most of my snowboarding friends because they rip...and i tried that walk thing and it was hard...damn

i only have one friend who snowboards so no i hate a lot of skiers though the ones that say the can do 7's and can only do a 1 or help you build a kicker and it turns out shitty cause they don't know what there doing

No way, they're doin freestyle as us so I like them, actually I ski with a lot of snowbrdrs. I usually hate snowbladers thought... and racers pretty much too

Yeh I was thinking about it the other day. I think it comes down the person, more than the sport...Sure you can get pricks on snowboards, but I've noticed alot of pricks who are racers, bladers and freestyle skiers aswell.

Ok so boarders can find a habit of getting in the way, and being in the wrong place at the wrong time, but since the explosion of freestyle ski-ing, they probably hate the fact they gotta share the parks with more and more of us skiers...I'm sure most of us have cut up boarders on the slope or in the park before....shit happens!

Snowbladers tho....got no time for 'em! haha

 
^ yeah exactly , you get sonwboarders and skiers that can be absolute fuckers. I think the thing that hurt snowboarding was that because it became popular so fast there were a lot of kids that were new to the sport and thought they were a lot better than they were. But yeah my friend snowboards and I travel around riding with him, no worries there... and anyway skiers have snowboarders to thank for the progression of our sport.

snowboarding and skiing are such a close sport. other then whats on your feet there identical, and the thing on your feet still has the same design concept. so to hate one another is very lame. i personally ride with boarders half the time. i see no reason to hate

Iv only ever ran into one snowboarder on the hill that i hated. That was the one who demolished my binding (story can be found in "park ettiquett" thread) Otherwise i have nothing but respect for boarders and alot of them seem to have nothing buy respect for me. I spent this whole season riding with 2 boarders. They were totaly sick. i was jealous of their skills, but not their steeze.

A lot of skiers usually say that snowboarders are in the way a lot of the time, and no doubt that's true, but skiers don't realize that they are in the way of snowboarders a ton of times as well, the most aggravating when they're stopped before a flat and the skier doesn't realize that the snowboarders gotta bomb it to make it through. Everyone just forgets about these cut offs most of the time anyway, so no one should really care.

The reson alot o skiers hate snowboarders are because they disrespect sking but thats mostly because pepole that dont know how to ski and little kids cut them off in the park so what goes in their head is all skiers will cut them off and be dicks.

i love snowboarders, i hung out with snowboarders all weekend, the skiers at the comp i was at were annoying and losers minus a few, but the snowboarders i was chilling with were cool as fuck.
