i wanna punch the guy holding the camera

him yelling do a pizza was fucking hilarious, but it's pathetic that he didn't just ski next to the kid and grab him to slow him down...

and at the end when he's like "congrats you survived!" the kid is fucking terrified and crying, i mean come on

Are you kidding? It's his kid, I assume, what a cool dad, trying to make the best of a bad situation, high fiving and being positive and encouraging with a "You did it!" attitude instead of lollygagging and pampering the kid "Oooh are you hurt let me buy you something so you won't be mad at me!"

This is what I was thinking. So chill and pumped about it. With an such a positive attitude this kid will be sooo gnar one day. Saw this video last night via pimp hands on Facebook. They sem to find so many videos before they make it to NSG.

this is a fucking awesome dad right here. great attitude for sure, and good parenting i'd say. kept the kid close enough that he could grab him if he really had to, but still let the kid try and learn on his own. he failed that time obviously but next time i bet he'll do a damn pizza haha

I can literally remember wiping out so bad just like this at this age, and my dad usually just kept skiing. I had to beg to have him help me put my skis on haha.

from a ski instructors point of view that looked a little irresponsible. little kids aren't very aware of their bodies, so when they try to do a pizza a lit of times they just spread their legs out and get stuck riding both inside edges.

that said the guy did a good job encouraging his kid which is important, and i did have a good laugh

lol i remember this one time this guy just yelled at his kid in anger because he was crying when he fell, i kind of felt bad for the kid.

I was really hoping he'd get up and walk away from that crash, that woulda been so gnar.

Felt kinda bad for him when he started crying. The video was hilarious though.

What dad calls his son "bro". Why didn't he just ski up and grab the kid he was hauling ass

Hahahahha hahahha.. Brings me back to my teaching days. Kid will slay if he isn't scarred for life haha.

haha same. They would have been like, "Should have pizza'd when I said something, now quit crying and put your stuff back on."

whats "perfect" in raising a kid?

idk if its father or brother, but they are obviously close. the hill was not incredibly steep.

the kid didnt hurt himself, which is most important. kids (especially when just starting skiing) cry because of everything. dont you remember crying (or at least feeling like it) when you didnt get something in a store? five minutes later you didnt remember the goddamn thing.

i bet that kid laughed 2 minutes after that.

Hahahahahaha. But seriously that's scary, I had a 3yo student take off on me like that once and it was traumatizing, more for me think. Thankfully centennial park is the smallest hill known to man

is that a mom holding the kid in the beginning? this seems more like something a brother would do instead of a dad, a dad would almost certainly be more concerned then after making sure he was okay try and be positive.
