So anyways my school has a Firewire and I'm sick of tired of not being able to download shiiiiiit, so could someone let me know what they use for problems like this?

if you want music, get my tunes redux, it gives you access to everyoncs itunes for free, and it DLs in about 6 secs per song

a firewall you mean?

in any case, check out BitTorrent. It might work, since it isnt the same as p2p networks like Kazaa or limewire.

yeah, go check out BitTorrent on google.

you need to download a client program. Then you go to a site like torrentspy.com or torrentreactor.to, and download the .torrent file for whatever it is you want to download. you open that file with your client, and it downloads it for you.

go download ourTunes. you can swap tunes with everyone else on your network. the firewall doesn't see it cuz everyone's behind the firewall.

try proxy7.com, attackcensorship.com for proxy servers if tha thelps ne thats what we do in my school

YEa I was gonna say to use that firwire to download your music. Thot that is what you were gettin at. but really you werent...

Search on google. type in artist and song followed by "Streams" I always found what I was looking for in a few clicks. Did it in web design everyday.

or go to musicvideocodes.com to watch videos.... our fancy "N2H2" didnt block it atleast.

My university had a firewall as well, but everyone just shared inter-network by using DC++. Ask some trech guy somewhere if your university uses it. DC++ gave me the best DL speeds anywhere, so fast and reliable.
