So my senior class (yeah im still in highschool) is putting on a school dance and I got picked to be the DJ with 2 friends. Anyone ever do something like this before? Any advice?

I DJ for a radio station, its rad, just pick what song u want to play b4 u go so ur not searching while ur there. Also, you what ur crowd to get hyped, yet still be able to dance. The difference between a good dance and a bad dance, is the DJ. Also, you should def talk on tha mic, get people to laugh etc... iintroduce tha songs, say why u liked it, why u picked it etc...

MAKE SURE to play songs that people can actually dance to. Not just songs on the radio. The last dance i went to the DJ played songs like smack that and money maker, it fucking sucked. But dont take that like i am telling you to play underground songs or anything like that either, stick to club hits.
