so now that school's out, i felt that it would be appropriate to share a mix that 3lau recently released. I love his haus mixes, tell me what you think

Saw him live and it was one of the worst shows I have ever been to. Not pissing on your thread, just sayin

Just want to point out that NS member Jordan is his photographer and I believe tour manager

pretty neat.

well this thread is full of me failing, should've included this in my previous post, but yeah thats super dope, thanks for telling me

University of Illinois (Canopy Club) this past year. Not sure, it just wasnt very good. Ive been to 100+ shows so I have a pretty good grasp on them, I just really wasnt feeling his set

oh idk if he does the same sets at his shows because my friends went to his performance at the house of blues in boston and they said his performance was awesome.

how many balls did they roll?

i'm sorry but 3lau definitely isn't good enough to have his own thread, especially in NSG. unfortunately he will be at a festival i'll be attending in about a month.

A buddy of mine is a intern at YourEDM and he interviewd this guy. He said he was the most self absorbed asshole he had ever met.

It means that a DJ is essentially someone making a career off of other people's music, which in most creative areas is absolutely not OK.

3LAU may not be the best live but his mixes are the best. He finds the best songs and his remixes are aite but thoose mixes.

i went to the one in Madison, and I would have to agree.

the songs were dope as fuck but the crowd was LAME. literally had no fun there because the rest of the crowd wasnt really into it. i would imagine it'd be an insane show with a good crowd.

I went to porter robinson last summer and that was insanely fun, energetic and drugged out crowd. was expecting the same at 3LAU and was disapointed

he's just portraying his personal creativity through mixing multiple songs, if anything his mixes help the people who's music he mixes because it further "advertises" the song to a broader crowd on top of that, if the artists who made the songs did not agree with him using their songs they have they would have him shutdown or ask him to not publish that mix, and how often has that happened?

this is probably the best mix i've ever clicked on, and im about 2 mins in so it could get worse but the intro nailed it.
