diving board pool practice

I'm not sure if this has ever been done or if it's even possible, but do you think jumping off a diving board into a pool with skis would be a good way to practice jumps in the summer? i realize some people have ramps that they can ski off of but for regular people I thought maybe the diving board idea might work. your thoughts please
