Has anyone got them, How are they?, i was thinking of getting a pair over the chronics. I've never had center mount and i want to know, is it really that hard or different using a center mount everywhere else on the mountain. I feel like it wouldn't be. I'd probably use them to do tricks on stuff outside the park too, in addition to all mountain stuff. I was thinking 161.

I'm like 5'6" and 120lbs.
 
I think they come in 169, not 161. Anyway, I just got a pair and they're pretty sick. I have no ridden them yet, so I can't really say much past the graphics. I can however, tell you that riding a center mounted ski is pretty fun. I find the ski has more pop and is much easier to maneuver quickly. It shouldn't at all effect your ability to ride elsewhere on the mountain, the only time it kinda sucks is when you're riding pow, specially with that slim 85mm waist. I wouldn't worry at all about switching from a normal to center mounting position, you will get used to it in a day or two.
 
I've ridden them. Fun as hell. center mounted is a little more spin friendly. you won't be dissapointed if you get them, they're very fun, they really aren't all that bad in pow unless you get them real short. I'm 5'8" and rode the 179's and i have 178 invaders centermounted. I'd go with 169 minimum IMO
 
the disorderly looks like a fun ski probly similar to the invader
its really not that hard to ski on a center-mounted ski you will get use to it
i was skeptical at first about center-mounting too but once you get er done its awesome

 
yeah, i meant 159. I figured i get used to the center mount. I still think i'd get the 15 since i like it slightly shorter, but i will take a look at the 169. Since i'm on the east coast i think they should work good. How stiff are they?
 
i heard they werent tht soft. on the k2 site they said mid flex and he extremes r mid flex, but im 1 75 would tht b fine for me? either way i wanna pair hello bad, pm m if u can help + karma for help
 
the disorderly is a good ski but look at the invader cause its like 100$ cheaper and has pretty much the same specs but i dont know about the stiffness
 
except they are different
Disorderly- Sandwich construction (durable, but heavy, holds camber longer)
Invader- Cap Construction ( lighter, less durable, loses camber easier)
 
My brother has the invaders, and i have the disorderlys, we are the same height and weight practically as well. This is what i have noticed.

K2 Disorderly: Seems to be really durable, a little bit stiffer than the invader, but like said before, not a stiff ski at all. lots of pop. good for butters, will last a long time for sure.

Line Invaders: Fatty edge, i guess, a bit more soft, not by a whole lot tho. Also a little bit light then the disorderly as well. Not a huge difference in weight, but you can kinda tell.

Overall both pretty nice skis, i guess it matters on your budget. ( in my case i got the disorderlys for free because the ski shop fucked over my fujatives.) Best of luck, both really nice skis!
 
If you're going to center mount them i'd go 169, when mounted center they swing MUCH easier and are really responsive even though they will be slightly longer
 
169 for sure. If you plan to put on some weight i'd go 179. I'm about 5'7"ish and ride 179's. but then again i'm about 45 lbs heavier than you. 69696969696969696969
 
169 wouldnt be bad if your just starting, im 5'8 130 and i have the 169 disorderlys. its ony my second year skiing. last year being me learning oonly going like 7 times. now i plan on going a lot. but last year i also had like 140cm skis.
 
yea this is only my 2nd tear in park but i plan to progress alot. i also compared the 169 to some 175 stls and the disorderlys were taller
 
yeah, k2 measures differently. i put my disordlerys up to my old fujatives, they are both 169 but the disorderlys were like 5 - 6 cm taller.

K2 makes both of those skis and I know they haven't changed their ways of measuring over the past few years. My 179 Ak's are nearly the same length as my buddies 183 gotamas...
 
my 08 179 PEs are like 2 cm shorter than my 179 disorderlys so they must measure those different haha.

and to they guy asking about the bases, its random. half have the yellow bases, half have the black ones. i got the black ones...i'm bummed.
 
no i definatley put both of them up and the disorderly was at least 3-4 cm taller. i can take pics if you dont believe me but i dont see why you wouldnt.
