Disorderly Vs. Anthem. I hate threads like this

Ok, I know, searchbar. But I am in a bind and can't decide.

History:

I bought surface watch life's in January and they delamed this weekend. Surface will not warrenty them and backcountry.com will only give me the price that I paid for the skis, which won't cover any other skis from backcountry.com. So I have limited funds.

Good news:

I can get anthems and disorderlys for the same price (within my refund price). but I can't decide. I like the disorderlys becasue of the cap construction, rivets, k2 standard badassness, and all my k2s have held up really well.

I like the anthems because I like a wider park ski, I have skid them before and I liked them, but I am skeptical on their durability. I am graduating college this year and need something to get me through the economic slowdown.

Please halp!

the anthems are pretty awesome as a ski. too soft though in my opinion, I'm 5'8' 135 lbs. I figure they would work for most people who are more into jibs and such. you can snag some $200 boones from the d-structure sale, those are some sick skis and they're pretty cheap.

i used to have disorderlys and they are great they are stiffer then anthems but i would go with anthems because their wide (so good for park) and they are good flex for you at 150 pounds

your 190 lbs and pretty tall, get the disorderlys. you'll likely overpower the anthems and k2 durability is much better

i have first hand experience with the disorderlys, they are quite heavy and on the stiffer side, and are sidewall. the top sheet chips a lot, big deal. I also got about a 2 inch edge crack, and its starting to pull out. So next year im getting anthems, because i want a softer ski. my brother has invaders and we both skied the same and his arent bad at all, and imo a lot better. I would definately say GET ANTHEMS!

All skis chip, it's just a sad fact of life

I've heard nothing but good things about the Anthems though, I'd recommend them

Disorderly's aren't cap, they're sidewall. I have them and like them, top sheet does chip a lot but they held up great this season (notice the past tense, seasons over for me)

my anthems are sick, love them for park and there not bad at all mountain, and in terms of durability, i got mine used, but in perfect condition, skiied them hard for 25+ days this season, and the biggest (and only) topsheet chip is smaller than my pinky nail.

i hav 179 disorderly's , there a sick ski, fairly light, good anywhere on the mountain IMO, but the topsheets r absolute shit, ive rode them the whole season so far and just about the whole sheet has peeled off or in the process, i dont notice it tho when im skiing fortunately

im about the same size i dont over power my anthems too much. i would say anthems there so much fun, and after two seasons they have held up fine.

I rode the anthems and the afterbangs today. anthems over the bangs for sure.

I'm kinda sorta leaning towards the AR6 or ARV. the ARVs were pretty awesome.

I like big skis.
