Yeah, this warm dry weather definitely isn't good for skiing. I can say that right now Sacajawea is horrible. We need another freak 3' storm to roll through and save the early season.
That's what Mt. Blackmore looked like from the top today looking down the north side. They're doing ok for snow up there right now once you hit the meadows, but there should definitely be more up there. We also hit wet snow starting about a mile above the lake, so something to cover that up would be bitchin'.
I was serious about it being bad, there's rocks and a couple tilted skating rinks up there. Buuuuuut if you don't believe me you can go ahead and ski up there if you want, just don't fall.
Well you said something about that kid needing to keep the good snow on sac a secret, unless of course his post about the snow being good was sarcastic. If that is the case, disregard my entire post.
Yeah, there was definitely a little sarcasm going on up there since that was some of the most horrible skiing ever. This site needs a [/sarcasmfont] badly.
Yeah, If you want to add to the depressing situation, check out the Long range winter forcast on www.noaa.gov and look at where MOntana sits. It the driest zone in the country. This year is looking like another dry warm shit storm.
