I dunno why but my friend and I have kinda agreed we dont like the look of fakie as much, i dunno why, I like it on jumps alot, but i mean on rails, i dunno why but we dont like it, like i think a normal 270 on looks alot better and harder then a fakie 270 on, what do you think? i'm probaly gunna get bashed as fuck but w.e.
 
you loose sight of the rail in a reg 270 wich makes it kinda harder to lock on correctly.

totaly different onto handrails tho cause popping foward is easier.
 
fakie 270 on is easier because u never lose sight of the rail, unlike a straight up 270 on. i dont agree that it looks bad but your entitled to your own opinion
 
i never knew switch 270 was easier. Ive never tried it. Nevertheless ilike the look of switch cuz to the average gaper it looks harder.
 
Yeah but honestly, how many are going to read this thread and be like, "Yeah 270s on handrails are easier regular than switch." But that would be insane to see a switch 270 onto an urban. Switch on is crazy enough.
 
Yea i've been waiting to see that go down, it's just a matter of time, if in fact it hasn't been done yet, i'm not even sure of that... either way, sw 270 urban is nuts
 
depends on the rail, but yes, whenever the lip is below the rail it's difficult to get the pop switch that you'd get regular.
 
switch ins on urbans are wicked sick. I think theyd be sooo nasty for urban. But is 270in switch really easier? i dont even know if i can spin 270 while going swithc.
 
Or a switch lip 270. That would be balls to the wall nuts.

I like the feel of skiing fakie, and I don't really care about how it looks.
 
i dont think switch 270 lip would be aby harder then regular switch on. in facts i think it would be easier since rotating away from the rail instead of into the rail is a lot harder when going switch.

 
I've seen my fare share of kids who spin before a rail/box and hope for the 270 on but they wouldn't approach any feture switch. I do agree sw/270/on is more visable making them "easier" but I dont think the LOOK worse.
 
i agree i really dont think sw 270's look as good as a normal 270, also i think anything under a sw 7 doesnt look great off jumps unless its a really cool grab once above sw 7 though i do liek sw more
 
If anyone can pull it off, you can Ced. Please, do it and send me a video so I can wonder at the amazingness of your jib skills.
 
just straight switch on is better onto boxes and rails than regular. i think it feels smoother and looks better. the whole body seems to be more unified.
 
I think arial shots of sw. ons are amazing. With the cameraman in the trees or with a jib shot, it just looks cool.
 
sw 450,630,810 is neater than reg 450, 630, 810 ect. but sw 270 is less neat than regular 270.
