Discussion: calling out NS'ers when you see them in public

yo dont do this. it's rude and if you did it to me in front of my family or friends i'd break your jaw. what kind of gay wants to publicize that they spend way too much time on whats at best an internet forum dedicated to a single topic. if it were anything else than skiing and you said you spent this much time on the computer talking about video games a majority of people would call you an assclown or similair insult. the reason i say this is the only people who would want to call someone out is someone who reads the forum, not the real NS'ers who just come here to look at pics and vids. yea, so calling people out is totally fucked and if you like your jaw not broken better keep your mouth shut when you see me with my clique and my ns stickers on my car and skis.

If you don't like being called-out, maybe you should remove all of your NS stickers. Then no one would know and you could live your miserable little life in peace without having someone with a similar interest saying hi.

Oh, and if I did call you out, and you tried to break my jaw, I'd hit you right back buddy, and probably knock you flat on your ass.

Alright So basically your saying all the real NS'ers dont go near the forums? And why wouldnt I call someone out, I want to be able to communicate with people in the community from NS. Im always stoked when I see someone with an NS sticker or an NS tee on. If you dont want people from NS saying hey than dont rep NS on your car. I don't care who you are but if I see someone with something newschoolers on im gonna say hey, because a good majority of this site is made up of poeple who wont threaten to break jaws, its made up of people who think its sweet to see other NS'ers and skiers around town.

guys i'm just kidding my friend got on my account and made this thread without me knowing i think its cool when you call people out.

 
The whole idea of NS is to create a place for other people within the freeskiing community. It's nice to see someone around town, or anywhere, that shares a common interest. If i see someone who has a LINE sticker on something of theirs, I would start a conversation or give a thumbs up, regardless of whether or not they are on NS. Fuck you and leave the community if you do not like the community.

OH SHIT! Earlier you said it was a friend now you're saying it was your bro. Haha. Sometimes it's ok to admit you made a stupid post and then leave it alone. It will make you look less like a moron in the long run. If somehow you consider your brother your friend and whatever and didn't actually post it then I apologize but either way it matters not.
And there's something about meeting another NSer that is just great. I love meeting them with a successful chad's gap callout. Real NSers aren't ashamed of it either. NS is like a family, why not greet them?

Yeah but hey, how hard is it to say it's an inside joke? Everyone has those. Plus I bet they would find it funny too. But it's your experience and I guess if it was awkward then you'd know that... Haha I can just picture it.

It's kids like you who I think NS would be better without. Why are you even on here anyways? You seem ashamed to be on here, and you obviously completely miss the sense of community that many people on here have, and you basically said this is just a last resort way to waste some time.
 
I have to agree with the original poster I hate all you guys and when I wear my sticker hats and gor wake boarding dont talk to me or i'll break your jaw
 
i personally would prefer a "hey, aren't you on newschoolers?" myself.

but the odds of a random ns'er ever spotting me are probably slim to none. I'm a bit like Waldo, or perhaps Carmen San Diego.

i live in ontario and hardly never ever see NS'ers unless its on the slopes.

but last weekend i saw a kid with a huge NS sticker on his jeep coming out of the bank as i was going in.

i called him out and said sick site bla bla, where you ride, what you ride bla bla and he seemed all weirded out.

he didnt even know his member name, which means hes either a gaper or thought i was going to somehow online kill him through his member name.

moral of the story, i always call people out, more often then not i have delt with or spoke to the person on the site before.

this kid however, kinda weird
 
you shouldnt be able to get stickers unless youre active on the site. sounds like someone gave him that sticker though
