im going up to castelton next year for school. ive heard things about college kids getting cheaper passes to some mountains around there. i dont think killington would give people shit but does anybody know if there are any deals in vermont?

+k for help

Killington will not, i've tryed. Most mountains i know of wont either. Castleton most likely has a deal worked out with a nearby mountain to get you a cheap season pass. For example, I go to Champlain College, not too far from Castleton. And we get our sugarbush pass for 30 bucks. so def a good deal, but again it depends mostly on your school.

Nothing on the day ticket. There are actually very few that do.

College pass is a good deal though. Park was plain this year, but the rest of the mountain has a lot to offer and it is EMPTY midweek.

^^^^^^^

saint mikes and champlain have a $30 unlimited ski pass program. basically the school subsidizes the rest of the money for the pass (saint mikes is for smuggs and champlains is for sugarbush i guess. i think it use to be for bolton. and the mountain is being chill because you're a college student and they make a fair amount of money since so many peolpe are willing to buy a $30 dollar pass (which they actaully make a bit more money on since the school is paying a bit for the deal).
