I got a phone call last night that Jibij Pro rider Jon Hartman was skateboarding and he broke his leg in 3 places. He had to go in for surgery right away. Hopefully he's ok. I'll post more details as I get them.

Jon just called me from the hospital. He was on lots of painkillers. He has all kinds of metal plates, screws, and staples in his leg, but the doctors say he will make a full recovery by the start of ski season.

yea, it was gnarly, his foot was backwards, and only attached by skin pretty much, the docs said he coulda lost his foot.

Another disaster has hit the Jibij Team. Am Team rider Dan Broadbent is in the emergency room for what is believed to be appendicitis. Hopefully he will be out in a few days.
