Disappointing sound track

i just finished watching ski porn, crazy good skiing, best segments i thought were andreas hatviet, and JP Auclair. but i was so so disapointed with the sound track. I was waiting the whole movie for the song from the trailer, anyone else have the same thoughts?

i got the poster/tshirt deal..fuckin awsome
 
i havent seen it yet, but i too got the poster/shirt deal (well. thats what it said when i ordered it). i hope the soundtrack isnt that bad :/.
 
a few of the songs were really good though. sammy carlson's seg was pretty sweet. there was another song at the end which was by an icelandic group, i'm not sure the name i have their cd somewhere and it's pretty sick too. but ya overall it was a pretty disapointing soundtrack
 
i feel like im the only person on NS who like the direction movie companies took with the soundtracks this year. i like it alot better than just some random rap or hip hop beats
 
sammy song sucked, well at least the flow of the seg. i watched this to make sure, because every shot of him, well at least 95% of the shots were in slooooooow mo, and did not match the song whatsoever, this doesnt have much bearing on the song, but the flow of the seg.

plus the song in jps seg is by sigur ros, but im actually not sure if its them cuz i didnt see them i nthe credits. sick band tho, really trippy
 
that was the worst ski movie i've ever seen(from a legit prod company atleast), fucking seizure editing, terrible soundtrack, someone needs to disable the razor tool on johnny D's computer. I cant remember the last time watching a ski movie made me angry and in a bad mood. fuck that movie. and fuck johnny d
 
the movie was a disappointment...Jp had by far the best segment in that movie, but it was nothing over the top....and i paid $40cdn with no shirt/poster..all im left with is a piece of plastic with the word porn on it, and no nakedness...so let down ;)

but seriously it ws pretty bad...UP1.2.1 wasn't even that good....im gonna get LSS, show&proove, and mabye Skimatic...i hope they're better than that was
 
are u kidding me? sammys seg is sick all his landings/takeoffs and switch ups and shit are to the beat only maybe 3 or 4 werent.
 
yeah the only music that works well is gangsta rap. Skiing and rock and roll are not meant to be together. We should go back to our roots of busting caps and selling weed. Finger on Da Trigga has got it right.
 
For the maker of this Post: The song that you heard in the trailer is Apache by the Sugarhill Gang. Its the beat only though, the real song has lyrics to it that you don't hear in the trailer.
 
the worst part about it is that I was so excited for the sountrack because Jonny D actually said "it's our best soundtrack ever".......major, major letdown. WAR was 100x better
 
For me its a grower, first time I watched thought the music was pretty poor but the tracks really grow on you. Really like Seth Morrisons song. Also the Pep edit on the extras thought it was a intersting to have such a chilled laid back song that reminds me of the beach - I think it worked.
 
i didnt like peps song a whole lot just because of the way a changed from like mellow rock to techno. also i was angry that pete used mahres song from hitlist, but other than that it was good.
 
the music was pretty bad, andreas' being the worst, i thought that the wolfmother in the intro worked well, peps song def worked well, buttt over it was bad.
 
Regnier and Mahre's segments have really poor music. I find myself skipping them just to miss the soundtrack.
 
Although the Kasabian song in the Thovex/Wester/Morrison edit was the best choice of song ever and edited together amazingly!
 
Funny....Andy's seg music is the ONLY one that I actually like in the movie. Rest of the music is totally weak sauce. How can you not like White Rabbit?
 
agreed i thougth the song was sick, guess it didn't go witht he flow, but the song and skiing itself were sick and the movie was awesome
 
its really a shame that PBP can throw away a year of hard work getting such sick shots of such sick skiing by editing so poorly and to such bad music. next year they should do everything the same except mid summer they send raw footy to kris ostness and he can edit the movie for them, and itd be the best movie ever
 
word pretty shitty music and boring basic editing. it truely was ski PORN though sick shots of HARDCORE skiing action that are fun to watch with NO PLOT and BAD BAD MUSIC its the only movie ive bought ima wait a lil longer to see what people are saying is good. maybe LSS skimatic sounds good courduroy maybe
