Disadvantages of buying oversized jackets?

I'm thinking of purchasing the Orage TJ Pro Jacket.

From what I know, this jacket has a normal, non-baggy fit. I think a small/medium jacket would fit normally on me. But of course I want to look like a G. Nah mean? So I am lthinking of getting either an L or XL. If I go with the XL, is the jacket not going to keep me warm? Will cold air seep in the bottom? Are there any other problems with getting a super-large jacket that I am unaware of?
 
nah theres usually one of those elastic thingys that keep snow out. plus you can carry a dog or something while you ski if you got one
 
I just picked up this jacket from the shop on saturday. I got xl and its a little baggy but not thug. I'm 5'8 and like 190 lbs.

I don't really think there are any disadvantages unless you go like xxl and it gets caught on shit.
 
well when you lift up your arms or bend over your back is never exposed. tey are really comfy and dont limit movement. tey do however look like a dress without snowpants. my gangsta jacket looks stupid wearing it around without snowpants. but its so warm and cozy like a portable blanket
 
Depends if the jacket is meant to be worn big. My Orage club jacket doesn't cinch up completely, and the pow skirt doesn't fit around me at all. I have gotten some powder spray up there a little, but not a whole lot. It's meant for a fat person, and I'm skinny. Some companies make jackets in bigger sizes to accommodate steeze, some accommodate belly size.
 
I tried it on in XL and it fit quite regularly on me. Like not even below my ass. I'm 6' btw.
But I see no disadvantage to having a taller jacket. Then again I have the g-suit so I may be biased.
