Dirty bases cleaned by grass?

Well the story goes like this. I went skiing on the last day of the season at our mountain and my bases which were originally white where tan and brown from the dirty snow. Ive been bored in the past couple days and have been doing some step on sessions (i have an edit up under rails) and just noticed that my bases were white again with an occasional grass stain which could just be rubbed off. I also tried scraping off the dirt layer before and of all things grass cleaned it. What the hell?!?

Oh yeah man, I smoked a lot of grass once and I didn't care about the condition of my bases either. It'll wear off though.

Oh shit, nevermind...

I have dirty bases and i scraped them and waxed them and they stayed dirty underfoot were the scratches were how do you legitly clean them?

Idk if you look at my edit i have a pvc rail and an old skate ramp that i covered with a towel. I wet the landing and the towel but i only did the towel so it didnt slip when i pushed off. basically grass cleaned out my skis except for one deeper gash so ya idk. but if this this is and efective way to clean your skis its a sure as hell good and fun one
