Direction of skiing

Skiing has progressed to a point where triples are the trick separating people again and now some might say skiers doing stylie triples. Where do you want to see skiing go? Do you want to see more style or more huge tricks like triples and maybe even quads eventually? Is it even possible to bring style into triples?

I vote that this becomes the official sea lion thread.

Everyone is on here acting like they experts on the subject and have all this experience, but the fact is that half of you probably havent even seen a sea lion in real life.

We want skiing to expand in every direction. In this recent interview with Marc Johnson he said "Now, there’s more diversity and more diverse types of skating are accepted, promoted and supported. Companies will support lots of different kinds of skaters and what they do. ". I think skiing can and will head in this direction. There will become more and more styles and genres of skiing that are looked at as cool or important and supported by more brands. You will always have the super tech people pushing the limits of what is possible trick wise and you will always have people doing new and old tricks in ways that look better than you ever thought they could. We are very excited for the future of skiing and what people are going to do. Every year people are doing things that were thought to be impossible or doing tricks in ways never even considered.

CHILL THE FUCK OUT. Do your own thing and if you happen to come to a point where you can try a new trick or higher rotation either go for it or don't, but make that decision when the time comes. Stop jumping ahead trying to predict the future, live in the now and do your own thing and you'll learn to love and hate aspects of the sport as you go.

What ever direction skiing goes in it will make what we are talking about the future.

In skiing the future is also in the past.

Most people over look things in our past but they are the key to the future.

Dont miss the boat.
