Direct mount to Atomic BD's?

Hey, Im getting some 04 big daddies and removing the hostage plate to mount some sollies direct. Anybody have any problems doing this?

I wouldn't recommend that. Ive seen it done with bad results.

What I can tell you, although I can't "recommend" it either, is to drill thru the plate and into the ski. I can't remember the drill bit to do this, but you just tap into the ski a few mm. It would be a good idea to throw some coilees in there, too. Ive seen this done once and it worked. at least it has up to now.

You're way better off just putting an atomic on there, though.

Aslong as you have bindings that straddle the channel they work fine.
