i don't know that kick ass is really the right term. james taylor is a good musician but i wouldn't really say he kicks ass.

Yup... they rock. Knopfler kicks ass. Sultans of Swing one of the best songs ever. Thats about all I got...

I saw Mark Knoffler in concert a few years ago.

He is an exceptional guitarist but his show is kinda slow.

It was good, don't get me wrong. Just kinda slow.

Until he broke out Romeo and Juliette and Sultans of Swing.

this one time, they hired a guitarist for a little while to go on tour with them in the seventies. he was one of my mom's boyfriends from high school. AWESOME

i absolutely love dire straits, one of the main bands that got me into collecting vinyl. my favorite song would have to be love over gold... i really like that whole album.
