Din Settings?

Alright so I just got new skis with the rossignol axial2 120 bindings, I'm going to be adjusting the bindings myself since I don't want to bring them into a shop. I'm 5'5, 125lbs, my boot sole length is 285 and i'm between a type 2 and a type 3 skier. I was planning on putting my DIN at 7 for both the toe and heel piece. Would that work for me?

If you are asking us you probably shouldn't be setting them yourself. Take them to the shop, spend 50 dollars, and save your knees and your wallet. /thread

If I was your size I would find a din of 7 too high, I personally had my din at 6 when I was your height/weight, I would rather eject out of my bindings a lot and then turn them up then blow my knee because it was too high

This is one of the times that the difference between "then" and "than" is very important.

You're telling us that you want to eject out of your bindings, tighten up your din, then blow your knee.

Start at a moderate din setting, then if you find yourself prerereleasing, crank them up one notch or even just a half a notch. But before you turn them up check your forward pressure because even if you have your din maxed out, if your forward pressure is off you'll prerelease a bunch.
