You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?
I'm 6'2' 170 and I think mine are on like 9 or 10. They release when they need to. I love how when you bring your skis to a shop, they have to put them so low because of the required specs. I doubt they'd crank mine much higher than 7.
Cheers

yeah im 5'3 105 and the shop set them at 5 i think i need to crank them up to like 7 though, not sure, there should be like a newschool din calculator, thatd be sick if someone made somethin like that
Im 5'10'and I have mine between 8 and 9. They come off a little more than I would like but i would rather pick up a ski then have the ski patrol pick me up cause i tore an ACL or something cause my skis didnt come off

Is it cheating if the girl is from another country?
wow these are all real high DINs. At this ski place I did my work experience at in teh summer they have this chart that tells u wot din to have depending on height and weight. I am 5'11' and 143lbs and I shoudl apparently have 5.
Don't crank your din setting up really high for no reason. If you aren't having your skis release for no reason, leave them alone. I cranked mine up to like 11 last year and then I bailed dropping this cliff and it cost me most of my season because my ski didn't release and I pretty much destroyed my ankle.
