Hi

I am new to newschool and got my first pair of newschool skis. trying to get bindings for them.

I did some research and found this DIN calculator

http://www.mechanicsofsport.com/skiing/equipment/bindings/din-calculator.html

When i use my height (175cm) and weight (170lbs), boot solelength of 290mm and skier type 3+, I get DIN of 10.

as a all around mountain skier + rails and little jump skiers, should i go up higher on DIN or is 10 enough?

thanks in advance

If you have to ask, go to a shop! If you feel like they're pre-releasing after the shop sets them, adjust both the toes and heels in half-DIN increments.

What the others said in this thread: do not play with your DIN if you are not a certifier tech (unless you want your knees to blow up).

i mean taking advice about DIN over the internet is likened to taking condom recomendations from a guy with 8 kids...
