DIN Question ?

Thanks in advance for any help, basically I need to know if my bindings will work for me and what DIN they should be on. Obviously there is a lot of conflicting DIN info out there so just lookin for a general overall opinion.

I am 5'9" and 175lbs, I'd say an advanced skiier who mainly hits backcountry and never parks or rails. I have a pair of Lib Tech NAS Freeride skis that I want to put some Marker Squire bindings on but after some research I fear they won't be strong enough. The skis are 100mm at the waist and my BSL is 305 if that helps. Thanks for any help, +k to all who reply and aren't dicks.

I've read that a few places about the plastic, I can't believe how many different binding statistics are out there. You say 120 max and the website I bought them on said 200 max and I've seen a few numbers in between. Thanks for the input it's much appreciated....+k to all who replied thank you.

all i can say is im 5'7" and 175lbs and i ride my sth16s at about 10 or 10.5 depending the day. I always release when i need to and never have i pre released. i dont know if that helps but yeah haha.

Im the same size as you and I have squires on a pair of my skis at the moment and I do not trust them at all. Ive pre released so many times and finally the heel piece snapped on me on closing day so I think its time to get new bindings

Yeah them saying the squires can hold 200lbs is really pushin it....heck I got the new griffs this spring and got so bugged out about the plastic heel I swapped em out for jester pros.....if I didn't have to deal with marker though I prob woulda def went with the look pivots....the chrome looks sick this year and their bombproof.

And also....be careful With those lib techs too.....I didn't trust em one bit....catch weird edges and don't even think about grinds on those.

Thanks for the info on the bindings and I ski backcountry and big mountain and there is no rails out there. +K for the help to both of you.
