Hey im about to go out west and i was wondering what you ugys thought a good din would be for an agressive skier 6'4" 185 lbs, on 187 MSPs. The thing is ive got s912s, which release too much on me, and i want to know the highest din i should have without risking losing a knee.

im 6' 200 and my park skis are at like 9. you should be fine with a 9. just ski them at 9 and if come off when you dont want them to crank them higher until it solves your problem. but the farthest i would go is 11. your fucking up the springs by then.

for pow i crank my bindings to one notch below max. so for you that would be 11 (insert spinal tap joke here). ideally, especially for your size, you'd have a higher setting. but you don't so 11 will have to suffice. it's a such a motherfucker to lose a ski in pow and have to wade around and search for it for 40 minutes.

CRANK IT. nah, i dont know much baout bindings, but for pow u def dont want to loose a ski so u can find it in the summer when the snow melts. I'd go to 75% of ur DIN which with a 12 would be 9.

wouldnt go higher than 9-10 on the s912s, ideally you want a higher range binding with your height/weight

It's not too true about bindings fucking up when maxed (it was on old ones), so if you want to crank them, go for it. If you have to ask though, you shouldn't be adjusting them. Ski them at the chart setting until they prelease, then turn them up a half. Repeat if necessary.
