So im 5"7, 115 lbs. I wana get good at buttering this year so how high should i put my din? I dont wana fly out on nose presses and stuff. The shop put me at 5, im thinking maybe 6? whats your guys oppinion?

Thanks! +K

ok dont do below a three it all depends... just set em out at 7-8ish and they shouldnt be a problem. also depends on alot of other shit like your skiing ability so you dont mess your knees up. just do a "standing butter" and if your heals pop out and you faceplant move em up a bit.

Just experiment and see. You don't want to move them up to high and then not pop out when you crash actually skiing.

I'm your weight, but a lot shorter (5'3) and I have long skis for my height (173's) so I don't get over my tips as easily for buttering so I don't release as easily. I run my dins at 4.5 in the front and 5 in the back. You should probably be at 6 depending on how hard you ski.

unless you want to fuck your knee all up, you need to go with what a shop sets them at, and if you come out, start bumping up the din in 1/2 increments until they stop prereleasing. definitely do NOT listen to people saying "about _ should be fine." they dont know what their taking about
