Digital SRL

There are cameras that are called digital SRL's, what does this exactly mean, can someone explain it.

first of all, its 'slr', it is a camera that has all of the manual features that a normal, several thousand dollar camera has (nikon f-5) but it is digital. Canon and Nikon make the best ones, actually canon make an 11 megapixel digital slr that costs 7,000 dollars

But the Digital SRL's still use film right?

SLR stand for single lens reflex whice just means that you look threw the lens at what is actually being recorded digitaly in this case. SLR is oposed to a view finder
