I know theres probably a million threads on this, but i am looking into buying a camera. I want something thats gona take nice pictures but won't break the bank, and my camera knowledge is limited. I wouldn't spend more then say $250ish.

I was just looking around and i came across this

and i was wondering if anyone had it and could tell me anything about it or if anyone has any other suggestions on a type to get im open to anything. Basically i just want a pretty nice camera but nothing too crazy so any help would be great.thanks.

 
unless yours getting a DSLR, it doesnt really matter what camera you get. With point and shoots, megapixles hardly represent the quality of a cameras picture, just get one from a known brand, the higher the price, usually the more durability it has. The one you are looking at looks like a camera that will do what you want it to do.
 
canon powershot a 430.. they are like 179, you can get one with a memory card and extended warranty for under 300
