I just got a digi cam for my birthday and just wondering what i should look for in qualities of a digi cam. My cam is a HP photosmart 120 with the following specifications

-3.6 color LCD screen

-1 MP total res

-.995 MP effective res

-2x digital zoom

-video clip capture

-4MB internal flash capture

-CompactFlash card slot

-auto exposer & auto flash

-USB connectivity

and I found somthing that i think means it takes pictures upto a 1152 x 864 pixle res

I have no idea what any of this stuff mean. Could anyone out there with a digi cam help me out. Is this camera alright for taking pics. Im not look for top of the line but would i beable to take a sequence with somthing like this, or capter a quality image. What are some minimum requirements i should be looking at. All help would be great.

sorry to tell you but that camera sucks. SHouldn't have cost more than 100 bucks maybee. all that is important is the number of mega pixels, you don't even have 1. Return it and but one with at least 3.

hey jj..havent talked to ya in a while..the skis kick ass...theyre holding up great..but back to subject

ive got a digital camera from x mas..

Olympus d-550 ZOOM

its a regular digital camera with 3.0 megapixel

and i just tried to turn it on to get to where i can change picture size of pixels..the damn thing isnt turning on...the orange and green buttons are blinking..i want a new one
