Different stls?

i met a kid that has the same 05 06 4 frnt stls in size 177..but our skis were totally different....mine had a darker topsheet graphic and had different side walls and mine were probably 3 times as stiff...what is up with this...how can we h ave the same model 4 frnt in the same year and both of our skis are centermount and they are so different>?
 
no its the same thing...its the brand new stls..it says stl 177 on it just like mine does and he said they were stls ...i did get mine over the summer tho and he just got his ast the beginning of winter...would it be anything to do with option helping make them?
 
that makes no scence other than wear one was ridden more days or harder or by a heavier rider.

As for the color thing fadding from where they are stored.

Maybe the lighter pair was in a store window all summer long and fadded.

The flex thing is harder to explain what i mentioned are the only things that could change a flex but none should affecy flex that dramatically as you said!
 
im 100 percent sure that they are the same year...they are both 05 06 and both 177s and both center mounted
 
so are there two different flex patters in this years stls..or is it just from usage you think?..and different sidwalls?
